These groovy little passport bags are made of rough cotton and measure about seven inches tall and five inches across. This is the size for carrying your ATM card, cellphone, checkbook and glasses.
These passport bags have a long cotton cord for a shoulder sling, so you can put it over your shoulder for hands-free walking or toting a load of things at the same time.
There is a nylon zipper closure, so you can go on the roller coaster without stuff falling out.

I've machine-washed these, no problem. They are colorfast. You'll want to wash it alone, on delicate cycle, because otherwise the cord will strangle your socks.

Can you tell this is a huge bag? It is 100% cotton, with a pocket inside and a pocket outside. The strap is really wide, so if you're carrying something heavy it doesn't cut your shoulder. It is large enough to hold a bag of groceries.
I love these for travel. It is soft enough to fit the space you have. It is lightweight to carry or pack. It is sturdy and easy to reach inside of, for a small purse, passport, book, makeup and those essentials that you'd have to have if your luggage arrives late.
I use one to carry rythm and percussion instruments and a camera, for playing music. But it would also be great for an overnight bag, slumber party, diaper bag, or closet organizer. Wash it with ease. And in a pinch, just turn it wrong-side-out till you make it home from the beach and find a laundromat.
