Quilters use about 16 fat quarters and some calico material for the sashing, borders and back, to make a great quilt. Each hand-dyed fat quarter is 18 inches tall and 22 inches wide. Specify soft 100% cotton muslin, heavier and tighter-woven elegant Kona, or fun and funky Chunky which has stuff sewn on top to give depth-of-field (add $1.00 per panel for Chunky). You can't tell the difference between Kona and Cotton by looking-- it's a tactile thing. Specify Cotton,
Kona or Chunky and whether you like softer pastel Easter-egg colors or hot bright colors. Tell me your favorite-colored thing (eggplant? robin's egg? fire? Earth and water?) or send a fabric scrap you like. And let me know how many you want. Fat Quarters take a week or so to custom-dye, if you want a large order with coordinated colors. Choose from here (or similar ones), any of the fat quarters in the palette above, or let us pick a compatible bundle.
